What next for goose green roundabout?

The council is consulting on what we should do with Goose Green roundabout. It’s already a landmark but the idea is to build on this to make it a real community focal point.

If you are realy against hight density developments in East Dulwich what are you going to do about the MASSIVE (950) Harris Boys Academy being proposed on Friern Road. All the traffic will go into Friern Road for access and the School will dwarf all the houses in Upland and Friern road. It is being built right at the edges of the site. And rather crazily the existing play area will be replaced with one in the middle of the site.

I like the roundabout as it is. Why do we have to have something there blocking the view.and distracting drivers when they need to have full concentration on their driving? Can we see the other comments?

Surely a statue of yourself clutching your record of attendance at Council meetings would be a suitably modest landmark?!

I wonder if a plaque naming and shaming those Labour councillors with inferior workrates would be more in keeping with the New Labour approach!
